We were the original beta tester and the first to license BIM with Autodesk and Revit – 3D modeling solutions that remove the risk of human error and add cost-efficiencies through refinement. The relationships we have built with software developers and our pioneer reputation keep us in the know for the next great thing. As some of the solutions we needed just didn’t exist, we developed proprietary software.

How and why you use our software - what makes SCA different?

AUTODESK FOR REVIT STRUCTURE

100% percent of our projects are solely drawn in Revit for concrete models that are distinguished as the best among our clients. Revit, with 3D modeling, allows us to see the sum of all parts, leaving nothing to the imagination and no chance for error.

ADAPT BUILDER PROGRAM

Used to design post-tension concrete slabs and mild reinforced concrete slabs. With a finite element module, the program defines defections at all locations on the slab, including long-term cracked deflections. For PT slabs, we place all the banded and uniform tendons in the slab, and the program verifies all the stresses are within the code tolerance, as well as designing the rebar required at the columns and midspans.

ADAPT PT/RC PROGRAM

Used for one-way concrete strip designs and for concrete beam designs, providing the shear demand in the concrete beams and indicating the necessary stirrups required in the beams.

SCA PROPRIETARY LATERAL PROGRAM

Developed for the lateral design of wood projects, visualizing the entire project versus components for accuracy; fast and cost-efficient designs.

ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE SUITES

Bentley, CSI, CSC, Risa, and other 3D software programs are used to design multiple building structures efficiently and effectively – from concrete to foundations to steel.
