Wes J. Hinton, P.E., S.E.

As chief operations officer and owner of SCA Consulting Engineers, Wes leads and oversees engineering department workflow and ensures all deadlines are met on projects ranging from the schematic level to the final stages of design. His structural design projects span from 5-story metal wall structures to 35-story concrete structures. He is involved in all phases of the design process from initial concept through completion of construction documents, including calculations, coordination of design and production of drawings and specifications. Wes’s expertise in the latest building and design codes for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures contributes to his overall understanding of various building systems and engineering techniques which assists in cost effective quality designed projects.
